Northeast Baseball registration

Bob McCrory camp

Saturday, Feb. 11 at Wayne Academy in Waynesboro. For boys ages 7-16. Camp will be directed by pitcher Bob McCrory (fourth-round draft pick of Baltimore Orioles in 2003) and Jeff Cook of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Others scheduled to work with camp participants are St. Louis draftees Jarrett Hoffpauir and Matt Shepard, Milwaukee draftee Brad Willcutt and Houston draftee Anthony DeWitt.

Registration begins at 7 a.m., camp runs from 8 a.m. until noon, followed by lunch and autograph session. Lunch and T-shirts are provided. $50 pre-registration fee or $60 to sign up on day of camp. Golden Moon Eagle Classic Golf Tournament honoring former Southern Miss standout Hanford Dixon

A golf tournament honoring Hanford Dixon of the Cleveland Browns will be held at the Golden Moon Resort on Feb. 26-27. Cost is $150 per person with a celebrity social on Feb. 26 from 6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. Some of the NFL stars and coaches scheduled include Ozzie Newsome, Sammy Winder, Reggie Collier, Louis Lipps, Bud Brown, Tod Pinkston, Ray Guy, Bobby Collins, Ray Perkins, Jeff Bower and Steve Johnson and others.

Briarwood Country Club Men's Golf Association Early Bird Two-Person Scramble

Cost is $20 per day and the camp hours are 9 a.m.-noon.
