Dear Citizens of Meridian:

Hi.  My name is Jakyah Dale.  I'm a student at Oakland Heights Elementary School.  I'm in Mrs. Tibbetts' Explore class.  Guess what?  Well, you don't have to guess.  We have a winter vegetable garden.  We have all kinds of lettuce, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage.  In order to keep our garden growing, we need a greenhouse.  Our class has decided to build one out of two liter bottles.  Reusing the plastic bottles will help our garden and it will help the environment.  We need at least 1,500 bottles.  Our school has collected some, but we still have a lot more to go.  Could you save your bottles and donate them to us?  If you would like to help, please bring the bottles to Oakland Heights Elementary School.  If you have any questions, or need more information, please call 601-484-4983 and ask for Mrs. Dixie Tibbetts.  I do not think I can come to the phone while I am at school, but you could ask.  You can also email us at dtibbetts@mpsd.k12.ms.us. We appreciate our community's support!
