Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday:
• Public drunk: Michael Jimmerson, 26, 41st 13th St.
• Motor Vehicle Theft: Tammy Hardwick, 27, Leland.
• Simple Assault: Kimberly Ivory, 25, 1722 30th Ave. Ivory was also charged with telephone harassment.
• Disturbing the Peace: George Glass, 58, 1317 38th Ave.
• Telephone Harassment: Rose Anna Owens, 22, 2416 43rd Ave.
• Simple Assault (two counts): Angela N. Walker, 31, 5461 Locust St.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday:
• DUI, first offense: Sandra Stephens, 36, 1327 Loper Road, Union. Stephens was also charged with seat belt violation and careless driving.
• DUI, first offense: Justin Harper, 23, 563 Pippen Road.
• DUI, first offense: Amber Clark, 45, 5073A Fisher Road.
Fire Runs
The Meridian Fire Department reported no runs for Saturday.
The Lauderdale County volunteer fire departments reported the following runs for Saturday:
• Emergency medical: Old Country Club Road, Marion.
• Vehicle fire: I-20; Toomsuba.
• Assist: Valley Road; South, Clarkdale and Lost Gap.
Ambulance Runs
Metro Ambulance made 26 runs between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday.
