The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.
• Simple assault — Jimasrick Dixon, 23, 1811 25th Ave. Dixon is also charged with carrying concealed weapon, petit larceny and domestic violence simple assault
• Driving Under the Influence (DUI) first offense — Randy Lane Dunagan, 41, 3312 State Boulevard.
• Possession of controlled substance — Tracy M. Covington, 33, 273 Debey's, Gulfport
• Disturbing the peace — Jimmy Lewis Hornsby, 48, 4303 30th St. Hornsby is also charged with public drunk.
• Contempt of court two counts — Nathaniel L. Pringle, 38, 1110 20th St.
• Contempt of court — Rodericus Mason, 19, 1413 17th St.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.
• Failure to pay justice court — Angela D. Covington, 25, 3553 Paulding Road
• Aggravated assault — James Whatley, 37, 10641 Highway 80 West. Whatley is also charged with felon in possession of weapon.
• Telephone harassment — James Edwin Burton, 42, 711 Murphy Road
• Bad check four counts — Glenn Windham, 45, 8064 Wilsondale Road, Collinsville
• Failure to pay child support — Michael James Brown, 36, 1917 28th Ave.
• Conspiring to manufacture or possess crystal methamphetamine — William Matthew McCullough, 39, 12235 Thea Road
• Burglary of dwelling house — Tramendez S. Mosley, 21, 1699 Willow Lake Road, Toomsuba. Mosley is also charged with probation violation.
• Sale of drugs near church or school — Demorian Woodard, 29, 1901 30th Ave. Woodard is also charged with two counts of contempt of court.
• Misdemeanor false pretense (bad check from 1994) — James R. Peavy, 37, 2000 Front Street, Apt. 407
• Possession of Ecstasy — Gabriel L. McKey, 17, 1801 24th Street, Apt. 2
• False pretense — Edward L. Alewine, 42. 8397 Northside Drive
• Simple assault by threat — Joseph A. Gambill, 34, 5682 Richard Johnson Road, Toomsuba
