Robbery Suspect

Police are seeking the public's help in identifying this suspect in a Monday robbery.

    The Meridian Police Department are asking for help in identifying a suspect in the Monday night robbery of Murphy's Gas on Second Street South.

    On Thursday police released surveillance footage of the suspect.

    At about 9 p.m. Monday, police responded to Murphy's Gas to a report of a strong-armed robbery.    

    Upon arrival police were told by the store clerk that a man robbed her, taking her money and the store's money before running away on foot. The clerk was unharmed.

    The suspected robber is described as a black male, 6 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds. He is said to have been wearing an orange shirt and green pants with a grey toboggan.
