Street closings and temporary no-parking areas will be put in place Friday to make way for the opening ceremonies of the 2009 State Games.
Beginning at 8 a.m. Friday, portions of 22nd Ave. and 6th St. will be closed downtown. Parking will be closed on a portion of 6th St. beginning at 8 a.m., and several other downtown areas will be closed to parking after 5 p.m.
