The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday:

• Aggravated assault - Matthew J. Spann, born in 2000, 4432 38th Ave., Meridian.

• Possession of a stolen firearm - Tyler S. Kinard, born in 1997, 872 Powell Road, Meridian.

• Domestic violence - Antonio Sanders, born in 1988, 2107 11th Ave., Meridian.

• Possession of controlled substance - Tyler Kinard, born in 1996, 2911 Rob Sims Road, Meridian.

• Simple assault - Georgia S. Woods, born in 1969, 5414 14th St. E. Tuscaloosa, Ala.

• Shoplifting - Jessica M. Chambers, born in 1980, 6334 CR 130, Meridian.

• Shoplifting - David L. Adkins, born in 1976, homeless.

• Interfering with a police officer - Dana S. Kinard, born in 1992, 872 Powell Road, Meridian.

• Domestic violence - Justin Ruffin, born in 1996, 309 59th Ave., Meridian.

• Child support/failure to pay/four counts - Derlim Robert Lemon Sr., 40, Meridian.

• No driver’s license - Kimbreyanna Shunte Morris, 24, 2617 17th St., Meridian.

• Simple assault/attempt to create fear/two counts - Jennifer T. Naylor, 39, 4342 Leroy Naylor Road, Lauderdale. Naylor is also charged with simple assault causing bodily injury.

• Burglary/commercial bldg. - Lauren Chelsea Poythress, 32, 5305 Poplar Springs Drive, Meridian.

• Contempt/child support - Antonio Marquers Sanders, 30, 2107 11th Ave., Meridian.

• Possession of paraphernalia - Sharon Morgan Smith, 52, 2905 Hwy. 45N, Meridian. Smith is also charged with seat belt violation, suspended driver’s license.

• Carrying a concealed weapon - Joshua James Taylor, 20, 3335 Old Lizelia Road, Lauderdale. Taylor is also charged with false ID information, burglary/dwelling house.

• Contempt/child support - Randy Ellis Tuggle, 38, 1733 Lucas Drive, Meridian.

• 1000 block of 28th Ave. at 7:47 a.m.

Shootings

• 1000 block of 28th Ave. at 3:46 p.m.

• Meridian Police responded to 4 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene, only 1 showed any evidence found to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Wednesday and 8:43 a.m. Thursday.

• Possession of methamphetamine - David Lee Adkins, 42, 306 23rd Ave., Meridian.

• Contempt/child support - Savaush L. Armstrong, 38, 1809 37th Ave., Meridian.

• Disorderly conduct/failure to obey law enforcement officer - I’Zhaun Mylik Bell, 18, 200 23rd St., Meridian.

• Suspended driver’s license - Dawanna Renee Budd, 51, 10856 Gilbert Joyner Road, Meridian. Budd is also charged with seat belt violation, no liability insurance.

• Probation violation/parole - Bobby Ray Carlisle, 67, 2518 17th Ave., Meridian.

• No driver’s license - Monik Sheree Cooper, 28, 200 23rd St., Meridian. Cooper is also charged with seat belt violation.

• Fleeing and eluding in a motor vehicle - Glenn Bo George II, 38, 276 Springhill Road, Lot C, Meridian. George is also charged with felon in possession of a firearm.

• Driving under the influence of other substance - Keandra Hopson, 27, 6057 York Road, Meridian. Hopson is also charged with improper equipment.

• Possession of stolen firearm - Tyler Scott Kinard, 23, 872 Powell Road, Meridian.
