The Meridian Police Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday:



• Contempt of court — William James Powell, 29, 3013 10th Ave.

• Simple assault — Danny Terell Dawson, 38, 506 Front St. Dawson is also charged with public drunk and disobeying police officer.

• Contempt of court — Marcus T. Powell, 22, 2727 43rd Ave.

• Disturbing the peace — Tamela S. Rasberry, 48, 10480 Mayette Road, Collinsville

• Domestic violence — Tirale O. Reed, 25, 3322 5th Street. Reed is also charged with trespassing.

• Disorderly conduct, failure to obey law enforcement officer — Carlos T. Williams, 21, State Blvd.

• Contempt of court — Markus Antonio Walker, 20, 2676 Highway 496



Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department



The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following suspected non-traffic violations between 4 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday:



• Failure to register as a sex offender — Paul Andrew Selensky, 23, 2704 Valley Road. Selensky is also charged with fraudulent use of identity.

• Felony driving under the influence (DUI) — Markus Antonio Walker, 20, 2676 Highway 496

• Sale of controlled substance — J.D. Gully, 59, 608 16th St.

Auto Burglaries:

1000 block of Highway 39 bypass, window entry, computer stolen, night time

• 2000 block of 12th Avenue, a/c push, jewelry stolen, day time



Vandalism:

• 900 block of Highway 19 north, fence cut, night time
