Jeff and Teresa George of DeKalb announce the engagement of their daughter, Felicia Danielle George, to Robert Curtis Skipper, son of James and Sue Skipper of Shuqualak.

The wedding will be held Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, at 4 p.m. at Big Oak United Methodist Church in the Damascus Community.

Miss George is the granddaughter of Charlene Cherry of DeKalb, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Cherry of Porterville, Elena George of Meridian and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thurman George of DeKalb.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Kemper Academy and received a bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is pursuing a master’s degree in speech-language pathology at the University of Southern Mississippi.

Mr. Skipper is the grandson of the late Gladys and Oscar Persons of Shuqualak and Helen Skipper of Preston and the late Alfred Skipper.

The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Central Academy and East Mississippi Community College. He received a bachelor’s degree in secondary education from Mississippi State University and his master’s in teaching from The University of West Alabama.

Mr. Skipper is a biology instructor for East Central Community College in Decatur.

Family and friends are invited to attend.
