If you are sure someone is having a stroke, call 911. He then told several short funny stories and he asked members of the community development club to be volunteers at Riley Hospital.

Rosemary Chandler said she sent four birthday cards this month. It was announced that eight meals were delivered to the sick and shut-ins.

Norma Cooksey said that 161 Campbell labels and 97 box tops for education were taken to West Lauderdale School. She said she has three gallons of Pop Tops to be delivered.

Joe Johnson gave a report on the walking trail and there is to be a work day in the near future.

The Yard of the Month was The Boone on Highway 494. Pauline Rushing won the door prize.
