Justin C. Mark of Pearl River County has been sentenced to 16 years and three months in prison and fined $5,000 on a guilty plea to possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.
The Sun Herald reports (http://bit.ly/s3l3sr ) a federal grand jury indicted Mark on multiple counts in March. He and others were accused of conspiring to distribute more than five kilograms of cocaine in Pearl River County and neighboring areas since 2004, and Mark was accused of being found with cocaine and crack cocaine in Hancock County on March 28, 2009.
He had pleaded guilty to one count in July. District Judge Sul Ozerden dismissed the remaining counts as part of Mark's plea bargain.
