The annual tour of homes pilgrimage in Greene County Alabama will be held Saturday and Sunday in Eutaw, Ala.
Five homes are featured in the tour ranging from a classical raised cottage, a Greek revival mansion, a restored Victorian home, a large Greek revival home with “restoration in progress” and a newly constructed Italianate Villa.
Also featured on the tour is the stately First Presbyterian Church established in 1824, St. Stevens Episcopal Church built in 1914 and Ebeneezer Presbyterian Church built in 1852 in nearby Clinton, Ala.
In addition to the featured sites a tour of the newly restored Probate Office on the Town Square and the Greene County Historical Society headquarters located in the Vaughn-Morrow House, built in 1841.
Tickets may be purchased at the headquarters and shoppers can browse through a booth there filled with old and new silver patterns and estate jewelry. Eutaw memorabilia and books on Southern architecture also will be for sale.
Breakfast of pastries baked by Mennonites from the region and lunches sold by local citizens will be available.
Several antique shops on the square also will be open with collections of Southern antique furniture, glassware, silver, paintings, porcelains, and many other items.

When: Saturday, Oct. 14, 9 a.m.-noon and 1 p.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 15, 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
Tickets: $20 for adults, $10 for children under age 12, available at the Vaughn-Morrow House, 310 Main Street, on the morning of the tour. For group ticket information of 10 or more, tickets are available at $15 each.
