MERIDIAN —     Bonnie Durrant Bennett of Meridian and Alex Keith Holloman of Quitman were married Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Central United Methodist Church, with the Revs. John Branning and Jimmy Harrison officiating.

    Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. William E. Bennett III of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Keith Holloman of Quitman.

    Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Jean R. Merritt and the late George Durrant Merritt of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. William E. Bennett Jr. of Bryant, Ark.

    Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. FA Spivey and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Franklin Holloman, all of Quitman, and the late Vivian Holloman of Quitman.

    Music for the ceremony was provided by Seth Reed, vocalist and pianist; Ms. Hannah Fischer, soloist; Joyce Tillery, organist; Ana Diaz, violist; Pedro Oscias, violinist; and Andrea Restrepo, cellist.

    Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a diamond white Maggie Sottero gown with a chapel-length train. The gown featured a sweetheart neckline, with a corset closure that accented a romantic fit and flare trumpet silhouette. A jeweled belt accented the natural waistline of the vintage lace bridal gown. The cathedral-length veil was an heirloom worn and handed down and treasured by her family.

    Matron of honor was Brittany Germany Bennett of Collinsville, sister-in-law of the bride. Maid of honor was Rebecca Marche’ Ross of Madison.

    Other attendants were Lawren Jo Busbee of Fairhope, Ala.; Shelby Rea Hitt of Collinsville; Madeline Marie Lazarz of Arlington Heights, Ill.; Olivia Grace McCain of Brandon; Kristen Michelle Merritt of Germantown, Tenn.; Myra Lindsey Morgan of Madison; Jessica Lee Pyle of Columbus; Laura Carolyn Touchstone of Baton Rouge, La. and Kelsey Breanna Wilson of Meridian.

    Bridal proxy was Stacy Virginia Watkins of Brandon.

    Lindy Patton Atkins of Tuscaloosa and Emily Kale McNeil of Enterprise served as flower girls.

    Olivia Lauren Hawkins and Anabelle Katherine Hodges of Meridian carried the bridal banner.

    The father of the bridegroom served as best man.

    Groomsmen were William Brandon Bennett of Collinsville; Zachary Douglas Boone of Grove Hill, Ala.; Wesley Dale Fagan of Quitman; Anthony Harold Holloman of Quitman; Fagan Lee Lewis of Petal; Justin Keith Martin of Meridian; Jace Michael Matthews of Ocean Springs; William Jason Miller of Quitman; Joshua James Moore of Quitman; and William Matthew Roberts of Meridian.

    Justin Kade Carroll of Quitman and George Bass Fowler of Nashville, Tenn., served as ring bearers.

    Honorary ring bearer was Ridge Durrant Bennett of Collinsville.

    Program and guest book attendants were Jasmine Barrett, Carlee Farrar, Marley Foy, Maggie Hawkins, Caroline Hodges, Haleigh McNeil, Sydney Stokes and Emma Strasser.

    A reception was held at Soule’ Steam Works following the ceremony.

    After a honeymoon in the Dominican Republic, the couple will reside in Brandon.
