MERIDIAN —     Heather Nicole Berrey and Charles Cecil Martin, IV were united in marriage on the afternoon of Oct. 26, 2013, at The Phoenix West-Beachside in Orange Beach, Ala. Dr. Larry H. Hilliard of Meridian officiated.

    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lucien B. Berrey, Jr of Meridian. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cecil Martin, III of Meridian.  

    The bride, given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, wore a gown of white organza with a circular chapel-length train. The strapless sweetheart bodice was embellished with pearls, crystals and bugle beads. She carried a bouquet of cream color roses.

    Attending the bride as matron of honor was Darrah Hicks of Brandon.

    Bridesmaids were Stephanie Brown of Jackson, Stevey Crawford of Jackson, Molly Engel of Hattiesburg, Cassandra Fears of Madison, and Courtney Mackey of Meridian.

    Standing with the groom, as best man, was his brother, Sam Martin of Meridian.

    Groomsmen were Matthew Penot of New Orleans, La., Chip Connell of Hattiesburg, Joe Sabin of Oxford, Kevin Silva of New Orleans, La. and Colin Schmidt of New Orleans, La.

    Following the ceremony the bride’s parents hosted a reception on the 9th Floor of The Phoenix West. The wedding and reception details were handled by Mrs. Paula Hoffman of Orange Beach, Ala.

    The newlyweds honeymooned in Antigua and are now residing in Jackson.
