Wile, Allred

MERIDIAN —    Anna Katherine Allred and Daniel Frederick Wile, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Central United Methodist Church in Meridian with the Rev. Bruce Case officiating.

    Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Timothy C. Allred and Mr. and Mrs. Frederick A. Wile, all of Meridian.

    Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. James L. McRae of Daleville and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Clifton Allred of McComb.

    Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel D. Wile of Whittier, Calif., and the late Mr. and Mrs. William H. Watson Jr. of Meridian.  

    Music director for the ceremony was Barry Germany, playing the piano and organ. He was accompanied by The Magnolia String Quartet and Susie Johnson as flutist. The Magnolia String Quartet consists of Ty Maisel and Mera Hall as violinists, Tammy Luke as violist, and Stephanie Weldon as cellist. Scripture was read by Hailey Wile Allin and James David Holland.

    Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a designer gown of re-embroidered lace from Watters and Watters. The ivory gown featured a Bateau neckline of sheer lace over a sweetheart lining. A deep V-back of sheer lace was highlighted by covered buttons. The natural waistline was accented by a sash of mocha bridal satin. The soft A-line skirt, edged in scalloped lace, ended in a sweep train.

    Her fingertip-length veil of ivory illusion had a silver thread rolled edge and intricately beaded silver embroidery.

    Attending the bride as matron of honor was her sister, Karen Allred Ray of Collierville, Tenn.

    Bridesmaids were Hailey Allin, sister-in-law of the bride, Beverly Brower, Bernadette DeRussy, Taryn Green and Colette Jackson, all of Jackson, and Christina Louisa Vaughn of Pensacola, Fla.

    Amanda Holland of Chattanooga, Tenn., served as proxy bride.

    The father of the bridegroom served as best man.     Groomsmen and ushers were John Allin III of Jackson; Cliff Allred, brother of the bride, and Reed Darsey, both of Meridian; George Hicks of Savannah, Ga.; Stephen Garrity of San Francisco, Calif.; Lewis Shioleno of New York, N.Y.; Brent Harris of Menlo Park, Calif.; and Benjamin Watson of Madison.

    Program attendants were Catherine Watson and Jane Ashley Watson, cousins of the bridegroom. Registry attendant was Emma Harrington, cousin of the bride.

    A reception was held at the Mississippi Industrial Heritage Museum following the ceremony.

    After a honeymoon in Point Clear, Ala., the couple resides in Meridian.
