Moulds, Mercer

MERIDIAN —     Haley Mercer of Enterprise and Daniel Moulds of Fellowship were married Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Enterprise Baptist Church, with the Revs. Roger Ivey, Malcolm Phillips and Ron Mercer officiating.

    Parents of the bride are David and Angel Copeland and Jeff and Paula Mercer. Grandparents of the bride are Ron and Ann Mercer and Bunny Darnell and the late Malcolm Darnell.

    Parents of the bridegroom are Joey and Dolleen Moulds. Grandparents of the bridegroom are Danny and Jackie Moulds and Orville and Betty Smith.

    Music for the ceremony was provided by Allen Darnell, uncle of the bride, guitarist and vocalist; and the bride’s sisters, Lindsey and Bethany, vocalists. After the pouring of the sand ceremony, the bride sang “When You Say Nothing at All.”

    The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore a gown accented with a white lace shoulder strap and a beaded waistline and bodice. The bride carried a bouquet of roses and hydrangeas with a small picture of her beloved grandfather, Malcolm Darnell, who died shortly before the wedding.

    Matrons of honor were Lindsey Followell, sister of the bride, and Tiffany Kidd, sister of the bridegroom. Maid of honor was Bethany Mercer, sister of the bride.

    Bridesmaids were Kelsey Creel, Destini Taylor, Bradi Braddock, Grace Mercer, and Courtney Taylor.         The mini-bride was Macy Brooke Adams and flower girl was Kari Rain Kidd.

    The father of the bridegroom was best man.

    Groomsmen were Caleb Mercer, brother of the bride, Junior Brownlee, Dusty Allen, Johnny Martin, Jacob Moore, David Melton and Chris Harris.

     Mini-bridegroom was Jaxon Hatcher and ring bearer was Wyatt Hatcher. Prior to the bridal processional, a white carpet was rolled out by Memphis Adams.

    Ushers were Joshua Campbell, Kyle Followell, Keith Kidd, River Kidd and Ridge Kidd. Program attendants were AnnaLaura Campbell, Zoie Mercer and Jodi Robinson.

    The reception was hosted by the bride’s family.

     On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom’s family hosted a rehearsal dinner at Archusa State Park.

    After a honeymoon in Destin, Fla., the couple resides in Enterprise.

    The bride is pursuing a degree in nursing at Meridian Community College while working as a pharmacy technician at Specialty Hospital.

    The bridegroom is employed by the Jasper County Sherriff’s Department Drug Task Force and also serves with the military police in the Army National Guard.
