Lauren Ferlisi of Birmingham, Ala., and William Walton of Meridian were married on Saturday, Sept.15, 2007, in Birmingham.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ferlisi of Birmingham and Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Walton of Meridian.

Grandparents of the bride are Mary Alice Brooker of Birmingham.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mrs. Russell Walton of Meridian.

Maid of honor was Leia Ferlisi, sister of the bride, of Birmingham. Other attendants were Michelle Peterson of Augusta, Ga., Gwen Harley and Jennifer Wilkens, both of Chicago and Jessica Moore of Birmingham.

Alice Wiloughby, cousin of the bride, of Birmingham, was flower girl.

Junior bridesmaids were Kira Ferlisi and Josie Ferlisi, nieces of the bride.

The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were, Tyler Walton of Destin, Fla., Will Hammack, of New Orleans, Clark Dunn of Oxford, and J. Lauderdale of Orange Beach, Ala.

A reception was held at B&A Warehouse immediately following the ceremony.

After a honeymoon to the Island of Granada in the Southern Caribbean, the couple resides in Vail, Colo.
