Nason, Phillips
Lacy Louise Phillips and Wesley Patrick Nason, both of Meridian, were married on Saturday, June 30, 2007, at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Rhett Payne officiating.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Phillips and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Nason, all of Meridian.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Barry Germany, organist/pianist; Susie Johnson, flautist; Benjamin Johnson, cellist; and Laura Anne White, soloist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white satin gown with a beaded and embroidered bodice. The skirt was accented with beading and swept into a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of white roses.
Maid of honor was Leigh Ramsey Phillips of Meridian, sister of the bride. Matron of honor was Kerri Leigh Smith of Hattiesburg.
Other attendants were Cynthia Jean Gaughf of Hattiesburg; Brandi Knotts of Orlando; Andrea Lynn Snyder of Birmingham, Ala., sister of the bridegroom; Rebecca Taff Wright of Charleston, S.C.; and Mary Elizabeth Barrett Tucker and Sarah Lawrence Watson Tucker, both of Meridian and cousins of the bride.
The bridegroom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Otis Leslie Howell, Stephen Anthony Partridge, James Travis Boyd, Steven Keith Boyd and William Scott Hamilton, all of Meridian; Michael Dean Jenkins of Galveston, Texas; Dillard Lee Pruitt of Amory, cousin of the bridegroom; David Lee Snyder of Birmingham; Michael Ramsey of Mobile, Ala.; and Jacob Abram Lewandowski of Pearl.
Rose petal attendants were Callie Baughn and Darby Baughn, both of Petal and cousins of the bride.
Program attendants were Hannah Mabile, Haley Mabile and Jordan Mabile, cousins of the bride.
A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Emily Rentz, Mary Kate Duncan and Miranda Rainer.
After a honeymoon in Orange Beach, Ala., the couple resides in Meridian.
