Winstead, Davis
Brittany Kaye Davis and Daniel Ray Winstead, both of Meridian, were married on Saturday, July 5, 2008, at Russell Baptist Church with the Rev. Clay Chancelor officiating.
Parents of the couple are Ken and Angela Davis of Meridian and Doug Winstead and Debbie Keyes, formerly of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Milo K. Beesley Jr. of Meridian and the late Mildred Mills Beesley and the late Harlan "Red"Davis and the late Marguerite Gunn Davis of Meridian
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Gene Winstead of Long Beach and the late Barbara Winstead and the late Paul Lucas and the late Carol Lucas of Gulfport.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Linda Gibson, pianist.
The bride was given in marriage and escorted by her father. She wore a strapless ivory A-line gown with an all-over beaded corded lace that flowed into a chapel-length train. She wore an elbow-length veil and pearl earrings, and carried a bouquet of yellow, pink and peach roses accented with green buttons.
Maid of honor was Kayla Mills Davis of Meridian, sister of the bride.
Other attendants were Katy Beesley Cottles of Meridian, cousin of the bride, Cristina Ashley Covington of Mobile, Ala., and Nethery "Lucy" Newman of Dallas, Ga.
Honorary best man was Robert "Bo" Winstead of Fort Campbell, Ky., brother of the bridegroom, who is currently serving our country in Iraq.
Best man was Randy Cory Mosley of Meridian. Groomsmen and ushers were Robert Cole Cardwell, Derrick Glenn Clark and Daniel Lee Harris, Michael Eugene Beesley Jr., Hunter Benjamin Beesley and Daniel Lynn Clark, all of Meridian.
Program and guest book attendant was Abby Hawkins of Southaven.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony in the church worship center. Assisting at the reception were Susan Beesley, Judith Beesley and Esta Nell Davis.
After a honeymoon to New Orleans and a cruise to Cozumel and Progresso, Mexico, the couple resides in Fayetteville, N.C.
