Clearman, Scarbrough

Meagan Nicole Scarbrough of Meridian and Benjamin Ross Clearman of Collinsville were married on Saturday, June 16, 2007, at The Preserve Resort in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., with the Rev. David Faulkner officiating.

Parents of the couple are Jeff and Lisa Scarbrough of Meridian and Kye and Angie Clearman of Collinsville.

Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Vern Reid and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Scarbrough, Margie Carpenter and the late J.T. Carpenter, Josephine Smith and the late Ralph Smith.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ross, Jackie Clearman and the late Jerry Clearman and Aubrey Clearman.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless A-line gown with beaded lace at the neckline and a champagne overskirt which flowed into a chapel-length train. She wore a veil of silk illusion, edged with pearls and crystals. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of red roses.

Maid of honor was Brandy Ochello of Meridian. Other attendants were Heather Burt, Keri Mathis, Kimberly Key and Meggan Shumate, all of Meridian.

Kala Clearman of Collinsville, daughter of the bridegroom, was flower girl.

Eugene Turner of Meridian was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Justin Scarbrough of Meridian, and Richie Bailey and Clay Clearman, both of Collinsville.

A reception was held at The Preserve Resort in Pigeon Forge following the ceremony.

After a honeymoon in The Smoky Mountains, the couple resides in Collinsville.
