Makey, Bayless
Colleen Marie Bayless of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., and Dr. Ian Andrew Makey of Meridian were married on Saturday, June 16, 2007, at San Clemente, Calif., with the Honorable Jack Jager officiating.
Parents of the couple are Teresa Bayless of San Juan Capistrano and Dr. and Mrs. David Arthur Makey of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Ellen Williams of Los Angeles and the late Forrest Williams.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Dr. and Mrs. Arthur Makey of London and Christian Wallace of Dublin, Ireland, and the late William Wallace.
Given in marriage by her brothers, Kevin Williams Bayless and Carson Myron Bayless, the bride wore a strapless, champagne beaded gown that swept into a train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of roses, orchids and calla lilies.
Kelly Ann Demar of Moraga, Calif., served as matron of honor. Other attendants were Caroline Makey of Meridian, sister of the bridegroom, Sara Chidester of Toledo, Ohio, Tiffany Biglay of San Clemente and Marisa Hansink of Capistrano Beach, Calif.
Averi Miller of San Clemente, was flower girl.
The bridegroom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Dr. Timothy Sheehan of Ocean Springs, Dr. Jason Bentow of Los Angeles, and Gordon Mason and Greg Roberts, both of Meridian.
A reception was held at San Clemente Historic Cottage following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon in New England, the couple resides in Boston.
