Ingram, Hamilton
Elizabeth Hemingway Hamilton and Patrick Darin Ingram were married on Saturday, March 29, 2008, at 4 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. Andrew with the Revs. Sherry Travis and John Hamilton, cousin of the bride, officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mrs. Kossuth Dewitt Hamilton of Jackson and the late Mr. Hamilton and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bruce Ingram Jr. of Atlanta.
The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Warren Carr of Belzoni and the late Mr. and Mrs. Kossuth Dewitt Hamilton of Meridian.
The bridegroom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Perry Cox and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bruce Ingram, Sr., all of Atlanta.
The bride was escorted by her mother. She wore a matte satin gown of her own design.
Mary Ellen Dillard, sister of the bride, was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Laura Hyman, Michelle Thomason and Ashley Scronce, all of Atlanta; Amy Zimmer of Santiago, Chile; and Stacie Andrews of Starkville.
Flower girl was Jane Andrews of Starkville and the program attendant was Ellen Cooper Dillard, niece and godchild of the bride.
Andrew Hammond of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Jason Deyette and Doug Welch IV, both of Jefferson, Ga.; Sean Kirk of Nashville, Tenn.; Jonathan Radcliffe of Los Angeles; and Casey Strickland of Atlanta. Readers were Sean Hill of Oakland and Warren Jones, cousin of the bride, both of Houston.
Following the ceremony, a reception around the pool at the Jackson Yacht Club. The bride and bridegroom departed by a sailboat skippered by Otis and Sue Johnson, who provided a moonlight champagne cruise.
On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Fairview Inn which began with cocktails under the magnolia tree.
On the day after the wedding, out-of-town guests were entertained with a departure brunch in the home of Margaret and Coleman Lowery. Co-hosts were Alice and John Henderson, Sue and Otis Johnson, Hilda and Alton Westbrook and Bill and Mary Virginia Youngblood.
The couple resides in Atlanta.
