Barnes, McLemore

Erin McLemore of Meridian and Scotty Barnes of DeKalb were married on Saturday, July 14, 2007, at Jones Chapel Church of God with the Revs. Kim Culpepper and Mike Boles officiating.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Denis McLemore of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Randy Barnes of DeKalb.

Grandparents of the bride are Mary Sue Fairchild and the late George M. Fairchild Sr., Elton McLemore and Norah McLemore, all of Meridian.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Lamar and Ruth Harbour of DeKalb, Eva Farris of Hornsby, Tenn., the late Fred Elderidge, Jack Barnes, Dorothy Barnes, all of DeKalb and Billy Farris of Hornsby, Tenn.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Chris Lee, Rebecca Keller and Angie Boatner, vocalists; Jennifer Davis organist; Thomas Box, guitarist and vocalist.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a full-length ivory gown of satin and lace that featured spaghetti straps and a scalloped neckline. Sequins and beading accented the lace. For her headpiece, she wore an elbow-length veil, trimmed in satin with a tiara accented with a metallic leaf motif.

Kylee McLemore of Meridian, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Other attendants were Ashlee Frazier of Meridian, Christie Rowcliff of Collinsville and Kasey Barnes of DeKalb.

Karsyn Culpepper of Meridian was flower girl.

The father of the bridegroom was best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Kevin Barefield of Preston, Chris Stokes of Oxford and Will VanDevender of DeKalb.

Hunter Eldridge of Collinsville was ring bearer.

Bubble attendants were Jake Ballard and Keaton Jones. Program attendants were Macy Jones.

A reception was held in the church family life center following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Jennifer Davis, Angi Jones, Heather Singley, Kristin Moody and Kelli Keaton.

After a honeymoon in Cozumel, and Calica, Mexico, the couple resides in DeKalb.
