Daniels, Cork
Jimmie Ann Cork of Northport, Ala., and James Richard Daniels of Columbus, Ga., were married on Saturday, June 21, 2008, at Five Points Baptist Church in Northport with the Rev. Jimmy Elder officiating.
Parents of the couple are Jimmy and Thomasine Daniels of Lauderdale and Jimmy and Becky Cork of Ralph.
The bride is the granddaughter of the late Clanton and Azilee Cork of Ralph and Vandie Hewitt of Northport and the late Jim Hewitt.
The bridegroom is the grandson of Maggie Daniels of West Point and the late J.O. Daniels and the late J.L. and Maggie Bell Baggett of Coldwater.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory A-line beaded dress with an embroidered lace overlay.
Matron of honor was Denita Elder of Tuscaloosa, Ala., sister of the bride. Other attendants were Shannon Alvarez of Ralph, and Tracy Barnhill, sister of the bridegroom, and Halle Winstead, niece of the bridegroom, both of Lauderdale.
Meredith Chism of Northport was flower girl.
The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were David Rutledge of Talbott, Tenn., Andy Barnhill of Lauderdale, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Lance Channell of Ralph, cousin of the bride. Junior groomsmen were Drew Barnhill and Baylee Barnhill of Lauderdale, nephews of the bridegroom.
After a honeymoon to Brandson, Mo., the couple resides in Northport.
