Followay, Rutledge







Keely Brooke Rutledge of Bailey and Jamie Followay of Meridian were married on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at Pine Forest Baptist Church of Collinsville with the Rev. Curt Pace officiating.

Parents of the couple are Kenneth and Judy Rutledge of Bailey and Eddie and Sue Followay of Meridian.

The bride is the granddaughter of Robert Hughes of Bailey and the late Gloria Hughes and Bobby and Sarah Rutledge of Quitman.

The bridegroom is the grandson of Louise Culpepper of Meridian and the late James L. Culpepper Sr. and Thomas and Betty Rankin of Paducah, Ky. and the late James E. Followay Sr.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Melanie Luke, pianist; Jay Parker, vocalist and Laura Winkleman, vocalist.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

She wore a white satin asymmetrical A-line gown that featured beaded lace applique detail that flowed into a chapel-length train.

Maid of honor was Kirby Rutledge, sister of the bride, of Bailey.

Other attendants were Morgan Vitart of Jackson, Ashley Bunyard and Adelia Luke, both of Collinsville. Junior bridesmaid was Brittany Allen of Meridian.

Darcie Smith of Wetumpka, Ala. was flower girl.

The bridegroom's father served as best man.

Groomsmen and ushers were Chris Moffett, Matt Minchew, Joshua White, Matt Tucker, and Jeffrey Stokes, all of Meridian, and Paul Gower of Arlington, Va.

Junior groomsmen were Keaton Smith of Wetumpka, Ala.

Jack Allen of Meridian was ring bearer.

Program attendant was Claire Campbell.

A reception was held in the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.

Assisting at the reception were Natella Boulton, Heather Hollingsworth, Cindy Landreneau and Stacy McKee.

After a honeymoon to Gatlingburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Meridian.
