Partridge, Ross
Crystal Ross of Toomsuba and Andrew Partridge of Meridian were married on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at Mt. View Baptist Church in Meridian with the bride's uncle, the Rev. Franklin McLelland of Butler, Ala., officiating.
Parents of the couple are Kenny Ross of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Thomas of Toomsuba and Mr. and Mrs. Grover "Sonny" Partridge Jr. of Enterprise.
Grandparents of the bride are Edward Shirley and Jannette Shirley, both of Toomsuba, Mr. and Mrs. Gray Thomas of Marion and the late Jnell Ross of Meridian. She is the great-granddaughter of Alice McLelland of Toomsuba.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Grover Partridge Sr. of Enterprise.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Kellie McLelland, cousin of the bride, vocalist; and Janet Culpepper, pianist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white satin A-Line gown with a split-back. The gown featured beaded cuffs, hem and inset, that flowed into a train trimmed in black.
Matron of honor was Kristy Turk of Meridian, the bride's aunt.
Whitney McLelland of Meridian, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.
Best man was Jackson Partridge of Meridian, the bridegroom's son.
Ushers were Stephen Partridge of Meridian, brother of the bridegroom, and Lance Robinson of Stonewall.
Gavin Thomas of Toomsuba, the bride's brother, was ring bearer.
Program and registry attendants were Breanna and Haley Boyette.
A reception was held at the church. Assisting at the wedding and reception were Towanda McLelland, Lindsay Speed, Deanna Cooley, Leslie Gipson, Sarah Evans, Brittany Anthony, Diane Jones, Danielle Jones and Ann Metcalf.
After a honeymoon to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Meridian.
