Puckett, Wall
Gina Elizabeth Wall of Meridian and Daniel Staten Puckett of Philadelphia were married at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2009, at Central United Methodist Church in Meridian with the Rev. Jack Loflin of Star officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wall of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Puckett of Philadelphia.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Roy Benjamin Baylis of Meridian and the late Blanche Patterson Baylis and Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Taylor of Meridian and the late James Marion Wall Sr.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Edward Rudolph Sr. of Philadelphia and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Kellis Puckett. Great-grandmother of the bridegroom is Helen Byars Tullos of Philadelphia.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Genie McPherson Durden, soloist; and, Alan Boles, Chris Lee, Kim Culpepper and Robert Taylor of the Liberty Quartet. Musicians included Leah Danielle Waits, violinist; Len Bobo, organist; and Greg Taylor, pianist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory gown featuring an empire bodice and A-line skirt which cascaded into a chapel length train. Overlaid in tiers of lace beaded with pearls and metallics, the gown was enhanced by the elbow-length, two-tiered veil edged in beaded metallics.
Matron of honor was Marion Marie Wall Hatten of Olive Branch, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Shanna Lynn Morris Haley of Madison; Nicole Diane Gwaltney of Destin, Fla.; Leslie Baylis Gwaltney Chavez of Rincon, Ga.; Kalen Brooke Bosarge Mayatt of Collinsville; and Judith Alaina Puckett of Philadelphia, sister of the bridegroom.
Alana Leigh Boles Elliott of Meridian was honorary bridesmaid.
Zoee Amanda McCool of Philadelphia was flower girl.
The father of the bridegroom served as best man.
Groomsmen were Michael Cade Parsons, Cody Edward Morrow, Bobby Jack Morrow, Judson Scott Byars and James Jedediah McCoy, all of Philadelphia. Ushers were Lawrence Franklin Hatten III of Olive Branch; Samuel Edward Rudolph III, Austin Langford Posey, Jonathan Douglas Holland, Steven Tyler Burnett and Michael Bruce Smith, all of Philadelphia.
Jacob Alan Hodge of Birmingham, Ala. served as ring bearer.
Tea girls were Alexia Chavez of Rincon and Heather Roberts and Cassie Thomas, both of Meridian.
Program attendant was Kayleigh Grayson McCool of Philadelphia.
A reception was held in the fellowship hall of the church following the ceremony. Assisting were Sabrina Williams, Dana Boyken, Linda Allred, Anna Allred, Tori Boyken, Kathy Busbee, Debby Howze, Jane Massey, Peggy Norman and Shirley Knight.
After a honeymoon to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon, the couple resides in Meridian.
