Pigford, Vance
Jennifer Lynn Vance and Timothy William Pigford, both of Collinsville, were married on Saturday, March 29, 2008, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Casey McElhenney with the Rev. J. Keith Vance, the bride's uncle, officiating.
Parents of the couple are Scott and Pam Vance and Janice Barousse, all of Collinsville, and Charles and Lynn Pigford of Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Grandparents of the bride are Mamie Warren and the late F.W. Warren and the late Mr. and Mrs. John C. Vance. Lester Thompson is the bride's honorary grandparent.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Jay and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Pigford.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Dusty Culpepper, violinist.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a chiffon gown that featured an empire waistline, and beaded and crystal details. Her accessories included her Grandmother Warren's diamond drop necklace and a set of pearls of her late Grandmother Vance around her wrist. She carried a bouquet of miniature white tulips.
Jenny Urbina of Meridian was matron of honor. Other attendants were Deanna Cornish and Barbie Rutledge, both of Meridian.
Flower girls and basket girls were Maddie Monroe, Sydney Urbina and Lauren Rutledge.
Davie Pigford, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Jason Monroe of Atlanta, David Callens, Justin Clark and Andrew Cooper, all of Meridian.
William Cole McElhenney of Collinsville served as ring bearer.
A reception was held in the McElhenney home following the ceremony. Assisting were Linda May, Barbara Harry, Melissa McElhenney, Diane Archie, Brandie Chaney, Shelia Haskins, Sarah Baker, Hannah Baker and Jon Harry.
The couple resides in Collinsville.
