Autry, Feltenstein







Eugenia Ann Feltenstein and James William Autry, both of Meridian, were married on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at First Christian Church with the Rev. Tom Sikes officiating.

Parents of the couple are Cathy K. Feltenstein and the late Guy B. Feltenstein and Mr. and Mrs. James A. Autry.

Grandparents of the bride are the late Mr. and Mrs. Roland Kimbrell and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ned Feltenstein.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Lang and the late Ann Meador Jones.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Barry Germany, pianist; Susie Johnson, flutist; Benjamin Johnson, cellist; K.K. Johnson, violinist; Jenna Johnson, guitarist; and Richard Hosch, trumpeter.

The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Guy Brad Feltenstein. She wore a strapless dress of re-embroidered dutchess silk satin. The bodice featured handwork done in glass seed pearls and crystal. The ballroom royal motif center skirt followed onto the 10-foot royal train. Her fingertip-length veil of illusion was adorned with hand-sewn glass crystals.

Matron of honor was Virginia Jones Bryan of Meridian. Other attendants were Mrs. Enley Reynolds Long of Meridian; Katherine Ann Autry of Meridian, sister of the bridegroom; and Meghan Lea Feltenstein of Oxford, sister-in-law of the bride.

Mary Love Bryan of Meridian was flower girl.

The father of the bridegroom was best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Clyde Autry of Meridian, brother of the bridegroom; Charles Paul Autry of Hattiesburg, brother of the bridegroom; and Guy Brad Feltenstein of Oxford, brother of the bride. Ushers were Dustin Dale Autry and Seth Thornton Autry, both of Hattiesburg.

Benjamin Doyle Bryan of Meridian was ring bearer.

Rice bag attendants were Edie Ann Long, Isabell Alice Long, Caroline McLain Hill, Cassie Marie Goodman and Lauren Raye Goodman.

Program attendants were Sally Ann Autry and Alyssa Glynn Goodman and registry attendant was Ann Morgan Lamar.

A reception was held at The MSU Riley Center following the ceremony.

After a honeymoon in Charleston, S.C., the couple resides in Meridian.
