Todd, Thomas



Mallory Thomas of Rose Hill and Danny Todd Jr. of Hickory were married on Oct. 6, 2007, at Rose Hill First Baptist Church with the Revs. Thomas Laird and Eddy Martin officiating.

Parents of the couple are Rod and Jenny Thomas of Rose Hill and Danny and Karen Todd of Hickory.

Grandparents of the bride are Thelma Davis and the late Howard Davis and Roy and Pam Stevens.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Janie Todd and the late W.A. Todd and Amanda Stewart and the late Scott Stewart.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Joy Tucker, pianist, and Eric Smith and Wendy Brewer, vocalists.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal white strapless gown. The bodice featured delicate embroidery with pearls, crystals and sequins and lace that extended down the full skirt and hemline. The skirt swept into a cathedral-length train. She wore an elbow-length veil of silk illusion anchored with a crystal and pearl tiara.

Maid of honor was Stacey Thomas of Rose Hill. Other attendants were Britni Wright and Chelsey Holland, both of Louisville, Keri Knost of Meridian, Summer Laycock of Mobile, Ala., Anne Claire Foshee, of Louisiana, Cathleen Castle and Tiffany Griffith, both of Collinsville, and Brenda Todd of Hickory.

Kayela Griffith of Collinsville, Keely Thomas of Rose Hill and Tanna Todd of Hickory were flower girls.

The bridegroom's father served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Josh Dugas of Louisiana; Derek Thomas, Cory Thomas and Justin Thomas, all of Rose Hill; Kyle Agent of Newton County; Josh Todd and Bryan Griffith, both of Collinsville; Travis Todd of Hickory; and Christopher Kirkwood and Lane Andrews, both of Mobile.

Taylor Todd of Hickory and Christopher Griffith, of Collinsville were ring bearers.

A reception was held at the church following the ceremony.

After a honeymoon to Branson, Mo., the couple resides in Hickory.
