• 11 a.m.-5 p.m.—The Church of the Mediator will hold its annual barbeque at the church. Pork and beef plates $6, Whole Boston Butts $25. Freezer/ Bake Sale. The Bookstore will be open and there will be lots of entertainment and kids activities. All money recieved goes back into the community. Line Dancing will be from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. The open mic will begin at 7 p.m. for those musicians & singers that would like to play and sing for your dancing & listening pleasure. There's plenty of good dancing, bluegrass, country & gospel music for all ages. Please bring finger food to share. A door donation of $2 will benefit the Quitman Volunteer Fire Department.
