11 a.m.-5 p.m.— Merry Meridian, Church of the Mediator Gingerbread House Contest and Silent Auction will be held at the Meridian Museum of Art.

11 a.m.-5 p.m.—The Church of the Mediator will hold its annual barbeque at the church. Pork and beef plates $6, Whole Boston Butts $25. Freezer/ Bake Sale. 2 p.m.— New Beginning UMC, Hwy 45, Porterville, MS will have a "Friends and Family Day Celebration." Our outdoor event will feature gospel singing, choirs and food will be served. The attire is casual and everyone is invited to attend. For more information, call (601) 513-3801.
5 p.m.-9 p.m.— Southeast Community Fall Festival will be held at the Southeast football field. No admission fee. Inflatables $5 armbands. Tickets for sale for concessions, carnival games, cake walks and more. Proceeds benefit the SE Elementary P.T.O.
