• 10 a.m.-5 p.m.—Tall Tales and Recollections Storytelling Conference will be at the Meridian Activity Center. For more information call 601-485-1812.

• 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.—Fall Storytelling Festival will be held at the Meridian Activity Center. Stories for adults and children ages 5 and up. Scary stories will begin from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. $10 all day or $5 for a half day and $5 for evening stories. Free for children under 12. All children must be accompanied by an adult. • 11 a.m.- 7 p.m. and 6 p.m.-9 p.m. — St. Patrick Catholic School, 2700 Davis St., will hold its annual Fall Carnival and Spaghetti Dinner. Spaghetti dinners will be sold from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. in the cafeteria for $6 each. The Fall Carnival will be from 6 p.m.- 9 p.m. in the Family Life Center, with a costume contest at 7:30 p.m. Entry fee is $1 per person.

• 1 p.m. — Petco Howl o ween contest. It's time to dress up your four-legged friends and bring them to Petco. NOT just for the dogs. Ferrets, rabbits or whatever your furry friend is! Sunday, October 25

• 10 a.m.—The New Covenant Fellowship Church located in Lauderdale will have their Homecoming services at the church. There will be a pot luck meal at noon. Special music by the Hutcherson's Family. Bring a covered dish and join us for the homecoming activities.

• 10:30 a.m.— The Pine Springs Southern Methodist Church cordially invite you to join us in our Annual Homecoming at 8256 Pine Springs Road in Meridian. A lunch will be served after the services. For more information, call 601-737-2598.
