Today

• 8:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. — Basket Weaving workshop to be held at the Meridian Activity Center, 3300 32nd Ave. Call (601) 485-1812 to pre-register and with this class there is a charge.

• 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. — Computer I or "How To Turn the Dern Thing On!" will be held at the Meridian Activity Center, 3300 32nd Ave. Call (601) 485-1812 to pre-register.

• 10:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. — Third Annual Mind Matters Health Fair will be held at Kahlmus Auditorium at Mississippi State University-Meridian Campus, 1000 Highway 19 North. Health screenings including blood pressure, glucose, memory screenings, body mass index, mood disorders, cervical posture and stress screenings. Call Pace Cooke Emmons at (601) 483-4821.

• Noon — Make-A-Wish Volunteer meeting will be held in the sixth floor board room at Rush Medical Group building. Lunch provided, call Jane Walsh at (800) 819-4072.

• 6 p.m. — The monthly meeting of the Knights of Saint Andrews will meet at the Meridian Masonic Center, 2311 11th Street.
