Today
• 12:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. — Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 3753 19th St. Call (601) 482-2498 or the 24 hour info/hotline at (601) 527-6669.
• 1:30 p.m.- 3 p.m. — Info Exchange and Bingo will be held at the Meridian Activity Center, 3300 32nd Ave. Call (601) 485-1812.
• 1 p.m. — The Queen City Duplicate Bridge Club will meet at 1 p.m. at the Meridian Activity Center, 3300 32nd Avenue. All duplicate bridge players are welcome.
• Noon - 1 p.m. — Make-A-Wish Volunteers will have a meeting at Rush Medical Building, sixth floor conference room. The results of the Wish Walk will be discussed along with new projects. Lunch provided. New volunteers welcome. Call Rebecca at (601) 483-4154.
• 5:45 p.m. — The Lauderdale County Country Dancers will meet at the Northeast Community Center on Briarwood Road, next to Northeast Lauderdale High School. Clogging will be taught at 5:45 p.m.; line dancing at 6:45 p.m. and square dancing at 7:30 p.m. All ages are welcome. Call Carol Hosch at (601) 483-7016.
• 6 p.m. — The Mississippi Valley University Alumni Association will meet at Council of Organizations Building. All alumni from the surrounding area is encouraged to attend. Call (601) 483-6475.
• 6 p.m. — The Monthly meeting of the Knights of Saint Andrews will meet at the Meridian Masonic Center, 2311 11th Street. Call (601) 693-1361.
• 6:30 p.m. — The American Legion Post No. 125 and the Auxiliary will hold their regular meeting at the Dick McWilliams building, 2640 Old Fifth St. there will be a pot luck dinner before the meeting. Call Roy Pete at (601) 986-5545.
• 7 p.m. — The Community of Hope Tutoring Program's last quarter "Celebration Program" will be held at the Jubilee Mennonite Church, 812 28th Avenue. • 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. — College Park United Methodist Church will hold a Relay For Life fund raiser, Spring Fest 2008. Sliced ribeye sandwiches will sold for $6 each, at the church located at 1103 Highway 19 North. Delivery available for 10 or more. Call (601) 485-5262. Also there will be a homemade crafts sale at the church with proceeds going to Relay For Life.

Saturday, May 3
• 7 a.m.- noon — A Benefit Garage Sale will be held at East Mississippi Electric Power Association parking lot on Highway 39 North. All proceeds will go to Relay For Life. Call (601) 581-8633.
• 7 a.m.- 9:45 a.m. — The Archonettes of Delta Nu Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta sorority will have a pancake breakfast at Applebee's. Call La'Toya Capers at (601) 604=2857.
• 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. — The Fifth Annual May Fest will be held at Ritchey Park in Enterprise with games, gospel singing, vendors, food, pony rides and children's activities. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy. Call (601) 659-3057.
• 9:30 a.m.- noon — Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library will host a free genealogy seminar at the library. Theme is "How to Use Legal Resources to Trace Your Family." Call Carol James at (601) 693-6771, ext. 222.
• 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. — Handmade Crafts, Gift Items will be for sale at College Park United Methodist Church, 1103 Highway 19 North. All proceeds will go to Relay For Life. Call (601) 485-5262.

• 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. — The annual Suqualena Masonic Lodge Fish Fry will be held at the lodge building on Highway 494 in Suqalena. Music will be provided by the Hutcherson Family and Friends Band. Cost is $7 per plate for eat in or carry out. Call (601) 626-7888.
