• 6:30 p.m. — The American Legion Post No. 125 and the Auxiliary will hold their regular meeting at the Dick McWilliams building, 2640 Old Fifth St. there will be a pot luck dinner before the meeting. Call Roy Pete at (601)986-5545.
Friday, May 2
• 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. — College Park United Methodist Church will hold a Relay For Life fund raiser, Spring Fest 2008. Sliced ribeye sandwiches will sold for $6 each, at the church located at 1103 Highway 19 North. Delivery available for 10 or more. Call (601) 485-5262. Also there will be a homemade crafts sale at the church with proceeds going to Relay For Life.
