• 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. — Free Test of Adult Basic Education will be held for potential students can be scheduled now through Aug. 8. The testing will be done at Hawkins Career and Technical Building, 1512 Kemper St. at East Mississippi Community College in Scooba.

• 8:30 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.- 2:30 p.m. — Screening for prospective Kindergarten students will be held at Poplar Springs Elementary School in the school auditorium at 4101 27th Ave. All upcoming 2008-2009 Kindergarten students are encouraged to attend.
