• 7 a.m. — The Scottish Rite Reunion will be held at the Meridian Masonic Center, 2311 11th St. All Scottish Rite Masons are encouraged to attend and bring a new candidate.

• 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. — Newton Regional Hospital will sponsor a Car Wash will all proceeds going to the Relay For Life. The car wash will be held at 198 Northside Drive in Newton. Call Susan Mosley at (601) 683-0287.

• 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. — Porterville Volunteer Fire Department in Kemper County will hold a fundraiser at the Porterville Community Center. Pulled pork, chicken, catfish and whiting plates available at $6 each. Call (662) 476-5974.

• 10 a.m. - Decorative Painters Society of East Mississippi will present Sue Johnson "Cake Plate with Lemon Motif" at the Meridian Activity Center, 3300 32nd Avenue. Call (601) 737-2493 to register.

• 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. — The Annual Spring Festival will be held at Poplar Springs Drive United Methodist Church, 3937 Poplar Springs Drive. Boiled shrimp plates at $7 per plate, baked and frozen foods; assorted casseroles and side dishes available. Delivery available for five or more plates.
