• 8:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. — The AARP 55 Alive Driver Safety Program, for persons 50 years old and older, will be held at the Enterprise Town Hall, 500 River Road, Cost is $10. The course will qualify citizens for a multi-year automobile insurance discount by some insurance companies. The course is taught by Charles Davis of Quitman.

• 12:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. — Alcoholics Anonymous will meet at 3753 19th St. Call (601) 482-2498 or the 24 hour hotline/information line at (601) 527-6669.

• 1 p.m. — The Queen City Duplicate Bridge Club will meet at the Meridian Activity Center, 3300 32nd Ave. All duplicate bridge players are welcome. Call Mary at (601) 527-2107.

• 5 p.m.-6:15 p.m. — Take Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS) a non-profit weight loss support organization will meet at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center, Health and Fitness Auditorium. Call Nancy at (601) 485-0044 or www.tops.org.

• 6 p.m.-7 p.m. — "Lose Weight in 2008" program will be held at the Frank Cochran Center, 1725 Carousel Drive in Highland Park, sponsored by East Central Mississippi Health Network. Call Beverly Knox at (601) 513-6489. Guest speaker Pace Cooke Emmons talking on "Emotional Eating."

• 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. — Barbecue plates will be on sale for $6 each plate at the East Mississippi Electric Power Association, 2128 Highway 39 North. Tickets may be purchased at the front desk or from any team member. All proceeds will benefit Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society. EMEPA will deliver for 10 or more plates purchased.
