Today
• 8 a.m.-noon — First Saturday Flea Market will be held in downtown Enterprise, half mile east of Highway 11, across from the post office. Call (601) 659-4693 or (601) 659-3435.
• 9 a.m.-4 p.m. — The Loose Caboose Festival will be held in downtown Newton. Activities include a 5K run, entertainment, Memphis Barbecue contest, dog show, car, truck and motorcycle show, kid's zone, arts and crafts vendors and more. Call Newton Chamber of Commerce at (601) 683-2201. Deadline to enter barbecue contest is Feb. 23.
• 11 a.m.-4 p.m. — Irish Festival will be held at St. Patrick School, 2700 Davis St. Games, food, petting zoo and international cuisine and many more activities for the whole family Call (601) 482-6044.
• Noon-3 p.m. — The Concerned Citizens of Meridian will host a "Parent Awareness Rally" at the park near Magnolia Middle School. For more information call Sinnessa Wilburn at (601) 405-9192.

• 6 p.m. — A dance at the Quitman Fire Department with classic music of oldies and current music for dancing and listening will be held. • 6 p.m. — The Collinsville Class of 1958 invites the classes of 1957 and 1959 to join their class reunion at the Collinsville Fire Department. Call Barbara Anderson at (601) 693-8571 before April 15 for reservations.

• 8:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. — The AARP 55 Alive Driver Safety Program, for persons 50 years old and older, will be held at the Enterprise Town Hall, 500 River Road, Cost is $10. The course will qualify citizens for a multi-year automobile insurance discount by some insurance companies. The course is taught by Charles Davis of Quitman.

This service is available at the Salvation Army Activity Center, 120 Sixth Ave. (B Street and 6th Avenue) Please bring a copy of 2006 tax return, picture ID, and Social Security Cards for all family members. • Noon - 1 p.m. — National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will hold its regular meeting at Weems Community Mental Health Center, 1415 College Drive in Meridian.
