• 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. — AARP tax-Aide volunteers with E-File taxes free for low and middle income taxpayers. This service will be available at East Mississippi Electric Power Association, 2128 Highway 39 North. • 5:30 p.m. — The Community of Hope Tutoring Program Board will meet at Jubilee Mennonite Church, 812 28th Ave. A “Celebration Program” will be held featuring the progress and achievements of the students in their study of the State of Mississippi. Keynote speaker will be David Landrum, chairman of the board for Mission Mississippi. Theme is “United We Shall Prosper.”

Saturday, March 1

• The Collinsville Class of 1958 invites the classes of 1957 and 1959 to join their class reunion to be held May 2, at 6 p.m. at the Collinsville Fire Department. Call Barbara Anderson at (601) 693-8571 before April 15 for reservations.

• 9 a.m.-4 p.m. — The Loose Caboose Festival will be held in downtown Newton. Activities include a 5K run, entertainment, Memphis Barbecue contest, dog show, car, truck and motorcycle show, kid’s zone, arts and crafts vendors and more.
