• 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. — AARP tax-Aide volunteers with E-File taxes free for low and middle income taxpayers. This service will be available at East Mississippi Electric Power Association, 2128 Highway 39 North. Saturday, March 1

• 8 a.m.- noon — First Saturday Flea Market will be held in downtown Enterprise, 1/2 mile east of Highway 11, across from the post office. Call (601) 659-4693 or (601) 659-3435.
• 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. — The Loose Caboose Festival will be held in downtown Newton. Activities include a 5K run, entertainment, Memphis Barbecue contest, dog show, car, truck and motorcycle show, kid's zone, arts and crafts vendors and more. The course will qualify citizens for a multi-year automobile insurance discount by some insurance companies. The course is taught by Charles Davis of Quitman.
• 5 p.m.-6:15 p.m. — Take Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS) a non-profit weight loss support organization will meet at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center, Health and Fitness Auditorium. Call Nancy at (601) 485-0044 or www.tops.org.
