Pascagoula police say body found, no foul play

PASCAGOULA, Miss. —  

Authorities a man whose body was found near Colmer Middle School in Pascagoula succumbed to "sudden cardiac death."

The Mississippi Press reports that Jackson County Coroner Vicki Broadus came to the conclusion Sunday. The man was identified as 50-year-old Sidney Jackson.

Pascagoula Police Department Lt. James DeShannon Massey says the body was found at the athletic field behind the school Sunday morning.
