Enterprise beats Northeast Lauderdale, 9-3

ENTERPRISE — Enterprise High School improved to 8-2 overall Saturday with a 9-3 win against Northeast Lauderdale High School.

Enterprise’s Noah Pogue got the win, going the full seven innings and giving up three runs on six hits with two walks and three strikeouts. Northeast’s Devin Sisson took the loss, surrendering five runs on four hits with two walks and five strikeouts in four innings of work.

For Enterprise, Brandon Whitaker went 3-for-3 with two doubles, while Hunter Harper also had a double. Brady Bilello was 3-for-3 with a double and a triple.

Northeast’s Ben Smith went 2-for-4, and Jake Perry finished 2-for-3.

The Trojans (9-3, 2-0) will host Forrest County Agricultural School Tuesday.

Enterprise 7, Lake 2

LAKE — The Bulldogs’ Garrett Glenn got the win, surrendering just two runs on seven hits with eight strikeouts in seven innings, as Enterprise topped Lake Friday night.

Glenn also had a strong night at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs.

Whitaker had a double for Enterprise, and Hunter Harper was 2-for-4 with a double. Brady Bilello was also 2-for-4, and Pogue finished the game 2-for-3. The Bulldogs tallied 11 hits total against Lake.

Enterprise (8-2, 1-1) will host Newton High School Tuesday.
