Bulldogs beat Forest 9-1

MERIDIAN — Jonathan Porter led the Clarkdale baseball team Friday night, as the Bulldogs beat Forest 9-1.

Porter (2-0) pitched five innings recording 10 strikeouts while only allowing two hits for the Bulldogs.

Keaton Smith had a big day at the plate, going 4/4 with two double and four RBIs, while Dillon Reed and Dustin Alsup both had RBI doubles on the night. Levi Wedgworth went 2/4.

The Bulldogs move to 3-1 on the season and will face Southeast today at home.
