MHS baseball drops two

MERIDIAN — Harrison Central - 10

Meridian - 7

    In Game 1 of the Saturday doubleheader at Q.V. Sykes field, Meridian High was defeated by the Harrison Central Red Rebels.

     Aaron Garrett led the Wildcats efforts with a two-run home run and a solo homer, but it wasn't enough to get past the Red Rebels who won the game10-7.

    In Game 2 of the doubleheader at Q.V. Sykes, Meridian fell once again to Harrison Central. Junior Bobby Bradley had a standout performance for the Red Rebels, going 4-4 with a single, double, solo home run and an intentional walk. The two losses leave the Wildcats with an overall record of 5-11.
