Batter up for Crestwood T-ball

MERIDIAN —     The Downtown Optimist Club of Meridian Crestwood T-Ball program kicked off Tuesday night.

    Children who participate in the program will be provided with a jersey and a baseball cap in their team’s colors and will receive a trophy at the end of the season.

    The games are played at Crestwood Elementary School's ball fields, located at 730 Crestwood Drive off of South Frontage Road.


    Here are the teams that played:

    • Woods Dentistry vs United Fence

    • Community Bank vs Popeyes

    • WMOX vs Little Caesars

    • Structural Steel vs Queen City Medical

    • The Meridian Star vs Quality PC

    Here is Thursday's schedule:

    • Woods Dentistry vs The Meridian Star, 6 p.m., Field 1

    • United Fence vs Structural Steel, 6 p.m., Field 2

    • Queen City Medical vs WMOX, 7 p.m., Field 1

    • Little Caesars vs Popeyes
