The Warriors fell to 1-6 with a home setback Thursday. Angelia Allen scored 21 points for Northeast, which moved to 2-2 and led 36-25 at halftime.

East Central received 11 points each from Xzandra Dowd and Jaianah Matthew, while Jakela Johnson finished with 10.

ECCC hosts Itawamba at 1 p.m. today.

Despite a game-high 22 points from Newton County product Hakeem Wesley, the Warriors fell to 0-7 with a home loss Thursday.

Northeast (2-2), which led 48-37 at halftime, was led by Acie Vance's 21 points.

In addition to Wesley's big game, ECCC got 11 points from TeJiminon Leatherwood and 10 from Aquill Baynard. The Warriors host Itawamba at 3 p.m. today.
