The Southeast Lauderdale Tigers walked away with a 65-43 victory over Philadelphia Friday night at home bringing the Tigers to a 7-6-0 record.
The game was neck and neck in the first period with both teams trading baskets leaving Southeast only leading by one point by the beginning of the second period.
Southeast center Damion Willis managed to score two consecutive baskets towards the end of the first half keeping the Tigers on top while momentum managed to shift back and forth between both teams.
The Philadelphia Tornadoes managed to close the gap at the beginning of the second half until Southeast senior Jarret Jenkins managed to help pull the Tigers ahead with five two pointers in the third period.
Southeast's rock solid defense, Jenkins consecutive scoring, and a late period three pointer from Junior Takari Brooks brought the Tigers to a respectable 12 point lead by the end of the third period.
Keeping the Tornadoes from making a last minute comeback, Southeast managed to close out the game with a team total of 20 more points. Southeast will travel to Kemper Academy for their next game Saturday night.

Senior Chariae Harbin led the Lady Tigers with a total of 17 points and three consecutive three pointers in the third period. A strong defense and accurate day of shooting also played in favor for the Lady Tiger's victory over Philadelphia. Southeast improves to 19-6 for the season and 7-1 in the division.
