Jontavious Thomas led the Wildcats to a district-clinching win, scoring 19 points and recording 11 rebounds and eight blocks. Joel Baskins scored 19 points on 5-of-8 shooting from beyond the arch. Devontae Brewster was also in double figures with 18 points.
Meridian (19-5, 6-0) will travel to Quitman Tuesday.

Darius Hicks led the Panthers with 17 points, while Tavarius Moore scored 16 and Anterio McKines scored 12.

James Gibson set up the play with an inbound lob pass with 3.8 to go in the game.
Willis scored 18 points and was followed by Jarrett Jenkins with 14 points.

Hannah Byrd had a goal and an assist to lead West, while Clair Campbell and Jada Smith both scored for the Lady Knights.
West (13-3-2) will host Magee in the first round of the 4A playoffs Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
